Website Done In Days is a web design service operated by Gary in Renfrewshire, Scotland. This notice describes the current website and enquiry process. It should be reviewed whenever analytics, forms, advertising, mailing lists or new suppliers are added.
Who is responsible for your information?
Website Done In Days is responsible for personal information used to answer enquiries, prepare quotes, deliver website projects and provide support. Privacy questions can be raised by calling or messaging 07300 837220.
Information that may be received
If you call or send a WhatsApp message, you may provide your name, business name, telephone number, website address, business information, project requirements, photos and links. Information may also come from public business pages when you ask me to work from material already online.
Why the information is used
- To answer enquiries and discuss what your business needs.
- To prepare a quote and take steps you request before a project starts.
- To deliver the agreed website and provide launch or care-plan support.
- To maintain reasonable project, payment, tax and business records.
Depending on the situation, the lawful basis may be taking steps at your request before a contract, performing a contract, meeting a legal obligation or the legitimate interests of running and supporting the business.
Website visits, fonts and storage technologies
This version of the website does not use a contact form, advertising pixels or optional analytics cookies. It loads font resources from Google Fonts and is hosted through Netlify, so those providers may receive technical information such as an IP address when a resource is requested. You can block external font requests through browser privacy or content-blocking settings; the website will remain usable with fallback fonts.
WhatsApp, Facebook and external websites
When you use a WhatsApp, Facebook or external website link, you leave this site and that provider's privacy terms apply. Avoid sending sensitive personal information unless it is genuinely necessary for the project.
Who information may be shared with
Information is not sold. It may be processed through suppliers reasonably needed to communicate, host a website, register a domain, receive payment, store project files or deliver the agreed work. Some providers may process information outside the UK under their own terms and applicable safeguards.
How long information is kept
Enquiry information that does not become a project is generally kept only while the enquiry remains active and for a reasonable follow-up period. Client and project records may be kept for the duration of the working relationship and longer where needed for support, accounting, tax or legal obligations. Information that is no longer needed should be deleted or securely disposed of.
Your information rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or a portable copy of your personal information. You may also withdraw consent where consent is the basis being relied on. There is no automated decision-making or profiling on this website.
Complaints
Please raise a concern directly first so it can be investigated. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office through the ICO complaints service.
